I am currently a program manager at the Office of High Energy Physics in DOE's Office of Science. My responsibilites include Fermilab, the HEP program at Lawrence Berkley National Lab, and the BTeV project.

Most of my work is behind the scenes, but I get to speak in public on special occasions.

Research

My research has concentrated on heavy quark physics. I did the lepton endpoint analysis at CLEO that first observed b->u transitions. After that I worked on SELEX a fixed target experiment at Fermilab, which was designed to study charmed baryons. I was a founding member of BTeV, but I am no longer involved in experiment.
